Every year, outstanding students are elected to fulfill OU PRSSA Chapter roles. Meet them below.

Lauren Reid

President 

Lauren serves as our President of PRSSA. A senior majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Communication and English, Lauren is also the Content Editor at The Oakland Post. She aims to be approachable and understanding, and help create a comfortable space for PRSSA members to develop professionally. In her free time, Lauren enjoys watching Red Wings hockey, grabbing coffee with friends, and hanging out with her dog, Scout.

Emily Osani

Vice President

Emily serves as our Vice President. She is a senior at OU double majoring in Public Relations and Communication. During her time at OU, she has worked for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions as a Senior Admissions Ambassador and as the Media Marketing Assistant for the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL). She is also involved in multiple student organizations, such as Alpha Delta Pi and the volunteer organization Alternative Spring Break. In her free time, you will find Emily cooking, baking, taking care of her plant babies, and spending time outdoors!

Kaleigh Wright

Secretary

Kaleigh serves as Secretary for PRSSA. She is a junior at OU, pursuing journalism with a minor in advertising. Kaleigh is an enthusiast for visual art, photography, and writing for print or radio news. Her administrative skills and attention to detail are principal assets she brings to the organization, and she looks forward to helping lead PRSSA in new growth and exciting events. When she is not behind the camera or with a pen in hand, you can find Kaleigh in her garden or biking on the Paint Creek Trail.

Destiny Williams

Public Relations Director

Destiny serves as our Public Relations Director. She is a Junior at OU majoring in PR and Strategic Communication with a minor in Digital Media Production. Destiny hopes to show her creativity in her position while helping with the growth of PRSSA. Being involved and creating a diverse and inclusive community is very important to her. Besides being a part of PRSSA, Destiny is a Resident Assistant and Desk Attendant for housing, a CORE Ambassador, and an Orientation Group Leader at Oakland. In her free time, she enjoys baking, dancing, spending time with her family, and making playlists for any occasion!

Leticia Santos

Historian

The Historian of our chapter, Leticia, is a Junior at OU double majoring in Public Relations and Communication, and part of the Honors College. Her international background brought her a passion for languages, traveling, and diversity. Leticia just transferred to OU and is very excited about being more involved with the OU community. Leticia loves to spend time with family and friends in her free time. When she is not with them, you will find her watching series and documentaries, or trying new foods and Starbucks seasonal drinks!

Tori Coker

Treasurer

Tori serves as our chapter’s Treasurer. A junior double majoring in Communication and Public Relations & Strategic Communication, she is an avid writer and social media enthusiast, busying herself in both realms within her position as Marketing Director at The Oakland Post. You can find her elsewhere on campus within the Association for Women in Communications chapter and the Student Life Lecture Board, as well as working beyond OU as a writer for Tongue Tied Magazine. In her free time, her favorite pastimes include binge-watching (and then re-watching) sitcoms, listening to Paramore, and sipping McDonald's Coke.

Chloe Kukuk

Online Outreach Chair

Chloe serves as our online outreach chair. A sophomore majoring in Public Relations, she is highly interested in social and digital media and how it can be used to communicate. She hopes to learn all she can about website management and apply her knowledge toward helping the PRSSA grow. In her free time, she enjoys scrolling through almost any and every social media platform, going on trips to Barnes and Noble, and journaling.

Chiaoning Su

Faculty Advisor

A professor at Oakland University, Chiaoning Su is an instrumental part of the operations and success of OU PRSSA.
